When I log into deviantArt. I have my page set to see the newly submitted deviations for two reasons: half of the pictures from the "popular" artists will be in my deviations list anyway, and I can generally find one or two stunning pictures from a fairly unknown artist.
Unfortunately, I also see a lot of stolen art there. Today when I checked out the front page, I noticed a fairly good anime picture. But when I checked out the 'artists' gallery, I realised it was full of pictures she had taken from google. But the worst thing about her theft was
she had taken an image from a deviant and placed it in her own gallery. No, I'm not joking, she really is that dumb.
The thing that pisses me off most about people like this is that they treat deviantArt like a photobucket account. Don't get me wrong, I hate the fact that they are stealing images, but even more than that I hate that they don't realise deviantArt is a place for
ARTISTS! Even if your art only consists of terrible Naruto fanart, if you drew it (but not traced it), you have every right to be here. Taking a screenshot from Mythbusters (and I've seen plenty of these, too), putting it in your gallery and writing "wow, i ttlly <3 this show, Karri is fkng hot!!11!!" does not make the picture yours, and if I had my way, I'd print the picture out fifty times and make you eat them all.
Anyway, on a nicer note, my costume for Avcon
[link] is nearing completion. It has clearly been made by someone with less-than-average sewing skills, but I'm proud that I made something this year, instead of just talking about like I have done previously. Unfortunately, Glot and Glati won't be here in time for Avcon, so ~
scotslegend and I can't show them off.

The job hunting has started again: I applied with some of the big retail companies, and still search the paper every Saturday. *sigh* I hate jobhunting.
